Oslo

According to Snorri Sturlason, famed Norse chronicler, Oslo was founded in 1048.  It now numbers a half million people.  Most buildings have elegant architecture and are 5 or fewer stories, giving the city a classical feel.  A great walking city.

It was quiet at Parliament, despite having changed governments this day.  It was even quieter at Domkirke.  Perhaps with the king and queen out of town, everyone took the day off.
