Email Quote of Note
Friends renting a farm house for a month in Sarlat in the Dordogne district of southwest France write, "A couple of evenings we have carried the table into the middle of a field across the road and enjoyed our dinner and a good Bordeaux and the view over the hills to the villages and chateaux in the distance."

Welcome!

Thanks for clicking on our page. Check it out. After you look at our latest news, send us email and tell us your news. As you probably know, our address is: snydder -- that's with two d's, one for Dan and one for Dave -- @earthlink.net. Of course, the stuff in italics isn't part of the email address, it's just in there to fool email address scavengers.

Here are the two Snyder boys -- Dan on the left, Dave on the right -- in Chicago in May when we celebrated Dave's graduation. He received his Masters of Fine Arts (MFA) In Writing from the School at the Art Institute of Chicago. Yeah Dave!!! Dan is in the final year of his PhD in paleontology, so we'll have another graduation to celebrate next year!

News and Notes
In addition to Dave's graduation, our other news is:

  • Larry finished the second edition of Fluency with Information Technology. Whew!
  • Julie has finished her Antipasti Web page, which gives the recipe and cooking tips so you can make your own.
  • The Snyder garden is listed on the Blue Ridge Garden tour in July. We are busy pulling weeds and need some help.
  • And, it looks like we will fit in a trip to Shanghai this summer.
Otherwise, we're at home and invite you to come by.
