Welcome! Thanks for clicking on our page. Check it out. After you look at our latest news, send us email and tell us your news. As you probably know, our address is: snydder -- that's with two d's, one for Dan and one for Dave -- @earthlink.net. Of course, the stuff in italics isn't part of the email address, it's just in there to fool email address scavengers. We're back from Shanghai! We went to China to celebrate the completion
of the Fluency book. And what we learned is: Shanghai's very hot! It's a flashy
international city with many tall buildings and bright lights. It is also
steamy in the summertime! Here we are in Shanghai's Fuxing Park trying to cool off.
The range of temperatures most days was 30°-35°C (86°-95°F), but once the thermometer read 44°C (111°F)! This is pretty terrible for people who live in Seattle. The day we returned, Seattle's temperature range was 9°-19°C (49°-66°F). We visited Shanghai, Suzhou and Nanjing. All three cities were very interesting and we have hundreds of pictures, which we hope to make into a web page soon. News and Notes
