After 383 days and a couple of dozen cuisines, we had filled our passports and cleaned our plates. It was time to head home to Seattle.

Our year touring the world was delightful. The places we visited were fascinating, of course. But it was the people we visited or who visited us that made the year extraordinarily enjoyable. Thank you all for your gracious hospitality and warm friendship!
News & Notes
Following the excitement of the Falling Gargoyle in Barcelona, we said adios to that lovely city, and headed to "The City of Light" to celebrate Bastille Day.
But the real reason to visit Paris is to see our friends . In addition to "storming" the Bastille Day celebration, the four of us had a great time touring, eating and chatting. We hope to click together a page on the visit shortly.
