This is the dark season of the year in the northern latitudes, but for us it has been a bright time of year in many ways. One source of shining brightness is the Dale Chihuly Glass Museum at Seattle Center. We've been there twice recently to enjoy the glow.

The Museum is a compact building and garden just below the Space Needle. There are displays of his diverse blown glass objects both inside and outdoors among the plants. It is simply spectacular and justifies the effort to come to the Pacific Northwest. And since you're in town, stop by and stay with us.

Friends Jan Cuny and Steve Robinson took that advice, and came for a visit. Not only did the gorgeous glass light up our afternoon, but we even got a souvenir photo.

And very bright moment: Seattle's Seahawks Won the Super Bowl! The team, which has a powerful defense, played the Denver Broncos, which has a powerful offense. It was expected to be a bruising game, but Seattle won 43-8, sending the Broncos to the glue factory. Much of the credit goes to head coach Pete Carroll.
Seattle celebrated with a parade from the Space Needle and Experience Music Project to the Stadiums. Over 700,000 fans cheered the team, including J. L finished proofing the 6th Edition of Fluency with Information Technology. Now all those little bits and bytes are getting transfered to paper. Whew!
